In the inaugural episode of Off the Mark we discuss the recent PPV Elimination Chamber and the effect it has on the WWE universe. We go over RAW and Smackdown’s recent shows and discuss their story lines. WWE has a new show out called NXT and we discuss its debut show and whether or not it delivered. In the world of TNA we talk about the recent changes and discuss whether or not it can be a real contender to WWE. In our final segment, we go over the Road to Wrestlemania and analyze the stories that will lead to the matches at the biggest PPV of the year.

Come join Blake, Uncle Bubba, and Mrs. Bubba as they put the IBWIP twist on Valentines Day. This episode is jam packed with laughs and great music. We feature an interview with Joe Huber from The .357 String Band and we play a couple songs from their new album.  The crew discusses topics like The Super Bowl, who shares a birthday with Mrs. Bubba, and The Bubba’s stop smoking.  The Fan Feedback reveals that everyone loves Mrs. Bubba, and we revisit the great debate; The Anus vs. The Rectum Part Duh. Mrs. Bubba answers questions about the vagina and much, much, more. As for music, we stay true to our Anti-Valentines Day theme by playing songs from The Calamity Cubes, The Meat Purveyors, The Pine Box Boys, Lonesome Wyatt and The Holy Spooks, Uncle Scratch’s Gospel Revival, and as a special dedication we play a song from N.W.A.

The White Trash Revival episode 32 featuring “Pete Berwick”.  Pete is a hillbilly’s paradise with an interview with him and an album review of Hellbound Glory’s new disc “Old High and New Low”.   Not to mention music by Dog Bite Harris, Lucas Hudgins, The Defibulators, The Whopner County Country All-Stars, The Tenderloin Trio, Pete Berwick, The Acheson Family, Nick Krause and his Austin Torpedoes, 13 to the Gallows, and Hellbound Glory. This episode is the greatest thing next to a case of P.B.R. and a tri-state crime spree with Aunt Penny the diesel mechanic.

On February 17th, The Hank in Chains Show returns on its new home, Ustream.tv! In addition to the great music from all genres that you’ve come to expect, the first Ustream episode of the show will focus the music of Warren Zevon. It isn’t the first time we’ve featured Zevon, and it certainly will not the last. This time, we will be taking a look at a few different styles and themes of the sadly underrated late singer/songwriter who was far more than “Werewolves of London”. An interview and songs by the very talented James Hunnicutt or THEE James Hunnicutt as I like to call him. Music by Cotton Jackson, Peter Head and the Pitchfork Militia, The Skeeballs, Robert Lovett, Quarter Mile Combo, Slakjaw,Land of Blood and Sunshine, and Livestock Davies and the Lowdown Snakes. A CD review for the band D.B. Cooper and the Hard Cash Band “Down the Same Damn Road” not to mention a couple of tracks off that CD. Not to much vulgarities due to me being stoked and a tad bit nervous getting the opportunity to interview someone of James’ talent. Oh and not to mention I was buzzing off of a “Hillbilly Hoodrat” (my special concoction of 24oz. of colt 45 and 24oz. of Pabst Blue Ribbon) y’all should try it.

I’d rather just post it.  I had it in the ”about me” part of MySpace, but people said it wasn’t too ”MySpace friendly” so I took it down. Whenever I would tell the radio stations or internet radio shows people that wanted to play my music, they totally dug it and understood what drives me on this music. Rock ‘n roll isn’t supposed to be pretty; it’s just supposed to rock. And I’m not ashamed of shit.  And have no regrets. I’m over it. If I fucked up on the way, I fuckin learned. And I’ll take any knowledge I can gain any way I can get it.”

The sad news was delivered last week… Flapdaddy.com is shutting down for good. The good news though is that this week’s episode of The Hank in Chains Show will ensure that the site will go out with a bang. The final Flapdaddy.com episode will feature the solo music of the Quiet Beatle, George Harrison. While he was forced to take a backseat to John Lennon and Paul McCartney when the Fab Four was taking the world by storm, Harrison would prove that his solo sound was equal, or even better, than that of his more famous bandmates until his death in 2001.
