In the six years I have been doing IBWIP, there have been only a handful of times where I have walked away for interview and knew that it was perfect. This interview is one of those times. I was honored to have Joey Henry inside the dirty stalls of IBWIP. Most of you know Joey as the singer/banjo player of The Calamity Cubes, but he also has a solo career as Joey Henry’s Dirty Sunshine Club.
In the interview, Joey and I discuss everything from pinball, sobriety, photography, and of course his upcoming release called, “The Eyes and Ears Around Us Vol #1 and Vol #2â€. Joey is an amazing songwriter, musician, and most of all he is an amazing person. I hope that you enjoy this interview as much as I enjoyed doing it.
