Off the Mark Episode #0219

The network may start airing Hulu style ads and we discuss whether or not Kevin Steen can make it in the WWE. On WWE programming this week, Adam Rose and Jack Swagger match gets bumped to Smackdown.  Also, the Evolution and the Shield feud should end on Sunday.  There is a PPV on Sunday that will air on cable and the WWE Network.  On Impact Wrestling this week, Bully vs EY takes place and a 6 man tag match happens. For Our Weekly Topic, we discuss NXT Takedown.  As always be sure to follow the show @OfftheMark86, Andrew Hughes @ahughes86, and Aaron Hughes @aphughes. It Burns When I Pee Episode #0136 “F&%CKING FOWL”

BOOM! It finally happened! Mollz and Blake finally tie the knot! In this episode Jason get’s the 411 on Blake’s not so exciting bachelor party, the Marriage Can Be Murder dinner theater, and Blake and Mollz gambling habits. We also play Fact or Crap Vegas Edition and introduce a new segment “Jason For The Movies” where Jason has an interesting review the new X-Men movie.

We spin tunes from Hooten Hallers, Josh Morningstar, Molly Gene, Sean K Preston, new music from Matt Woods. We even play Elvis because we can’t talk about Vegas and not play a song from the King.

This episode marks the 7 year anniversary of IBWIP. We would like to thank the artists who have appeared on the show, the listeners who have supported us, and all the people that have spread the word about the show. We love you all. Let’s do another 7 years!

Hopefully no one has bought WWE stock recently because it dropped 40% overnight.  We have some Total Divas news; for the ladies.  On WWE programming this week, we discuss the fallout from Daniel Bryan’s injury again.  Cesaro is just killing it overseas.  The WWE also gives some love to the IC title.   On Impact Wrestling this week, MVP, Kenny King, and Lashley attack the Wolves for no reason.  We then discuss TNA as a business and Austin Aries.  As always be sure to follow the show @OfftheMark86, Andrew Hughes @ahughes86, and Aaron Hughes @aphughes. It Burns When I Pee Episode #0135 “An Interview with Call Me Bronco”

I have had this episode done for over a month and it’s been killing me to get it released.  We met up with Call Me Bronco on their March tour when they stopped in at The Brass Rail 2 in Peoria, IL.  I first heard of the band when Mollz came home from last years Muddy Roots Spring Weekender.  Since then we have been burning a hole in their CD. In the interview we introduce you to the guys, talk about how the band got together and much more. They tell one of the funniest stories that we have ever had on a IBWIP interview.  This is a don’t miss episode.  We also have this episode available as a vidcast on our PeeAVision youtube page.  You really have to check out the video as well.  So join of for a great time with Call Me Bronco. It Burns When I Pee Episode #0134 “An Interview with Joseph Huber”

Joseph Huber has a new album out entitled, “The Hanging Road” and we were lucky enough to sit down with him to talk about it. We pulled up a couple bar stools onto the famous pickin’ porch at The High Note in Pekin IL. In the interview we discuss the new album, talk about what makes the perfect song, and his recent nuptials. We also discuss his wood-working and even throw in a couple .357 String Band questions. Not only is this episode available as a podcast but we also have it as a vidcast on our PeeAVision youtube page. The video includes a live performance of two new songs from his new album including: Coming Down From You as well as Same River Twice. He is accompanied by Guido Grease Rag on bass and Jason Loveall on fiddle. Make sure to check it out as well.
