I have had a bucket list of people that I have wanted to interview over the past 8 years and my guest for this episode, Possessed By Paul James, was at the top of that list. A longtime friend of IBWIP, Brooklyn Hellbetty, requested we ask him to discuss his song “The Color Of My Bloody Nose†from his 2010 release “Feed The Familyâ€. In the interview he talks about what inspired him to write the song, the amount of requests for the song he still gets, and much more. He also talks about his late start into music, and how he would explain this song to his children when they get older. I could have talked to PPJ for hours but his 4 year old son wanted to play legos and that was a good enough reason to wrap up the interview in my book. It was a perfect example of a man with the right priorities. It was an honor to finally have the chance to talk to this amazing songwriter, musician, and all around person in Possessed By Paul James.
