The Song: Inside and Out Episode #0003 “Lou Shields”

We are so pumped about having Lou Shields as our guest on this episode. This is the first time we have interviewed him and it’s been two years in the making. In this interview we get to know a little more about Lou before we dig into his song Grateful, from his album American Relic which came out in December of 2014. Find out how he got into blues music, the life event that lead him to get serious about playing guitar, and his influences. Lou also talks about balancing his life that includes music, touring, skateboarding, teaching, and art. We also discuss his recent tour in Europe as well as his new vinyl release Deep River (which will only be available on vinyl). Finally we will talk about the song “Grateful”. We hope that you enjoy hearing about Lou as much as we enjoyed having him on.

Off the Mark Episode #0274

Is Dolph is leaving the WWE?  Gunner and Samuel Shaw were released.  We also discuss all the recent injuries in the WWE.  On WWE programming this week, it has been confirmed that Cena will defend his US title against Owens at Battleground.  Jamie Noble breaks 3 ribs and Brock Lesnar gets beat up..  On TNA programming this week, so many surprise returns and there is not a single belt being defended at there PPV on Sunday.  As always be sure to follow the show @OfftheMark86, Andrew Hughes @ahughes86, and Aaron Hughes @aphughes. IBWIP Episode #0204 “Blake’s Not A Horrible Father”

There were many titles that we thought about for this episode, “Anal Fissures, Twirly Twoos, and even Open Wounds”. In this episode Blake talks about trying to teach Eli how to catch a baseball but it turns out bad. We also play “Chap Dat Ass” which Big E leads off with some jokes. Heather hates auto flushing toilets, Big E hates heat, and Jason hates a cockroach he found in his kitchen, and Blake doesn’t want to watch for motorcycles anymore. We also hear from Ol Justin Chambers as he sends us an audio response to Heather and the crews comments from EP201. Finally we welcome to the show Maury Poppinse. He is the Opra of the UK and is on the show to discuss his television show. He also brings a couple special ladies on the show to demonstrate what viewers can expect.

We talk about the album, his songwriting, and the many phases of a breakup.  Josh talks openly about his battles with substance abuse and his life on the road. Josh also talks about his upcoming Keith Whitley Memorial Ride on June 28th and 29th.
