Off the Mark Episode #0186

EGO inducts Bobby Roode into the EGO Hall of Fame and someone makes their return!  A legend is sent home for “personal reasons” and we got the scoop.  Stephanie has sold 1/3 of her WWE stock and we know why.  On WWE this week, they put out a crappy PPV and I want my money back.  Oh, and we STILL do not have a WWE champ.  Big Show knocks Trips out and gets terminated.  On TNA this week, Joe adds himself into the Ultimate X match and Dixie is not an actress.  No topic this week, BUT Off the Mark will have a SPECIAL Bound for Glory show released on October 16th, 2013 at 3pm.  As always be sure to follow the show @OfftheMark86, Andrew @ahughes86, and Aaron @aphughes. It Burns When I Pee Episode #0113 “An Interview with Neil Hamilton”

For the first time ever on IBWIP we interview an author. We welcome Neil Hamilton into the stalls to talk about his new book, “Outlaws Still At Large: A Saga of Roots Country Music Since the 1970’s” Neil’s book is an interesting and insightful look at some of the musicians making music today in our genre. It isn’t a who’s who or a handbook to roots music, but instead it’s about one man’s journey through a tragic time in his life and how these musicians and their music changed his life.

In the interview Neil and I talk about how the idea to the book came about and what went into making it a reality. We also discuss the Nashville machine and what the future brings for roots music. So make sure to check out the interview and get your hands on a copy of the book. We also spin a music from Dallas Moore, Jackson Taylor & The Sinners, Whitey Morgan & The 78’s, and Jason Boland & The Stragglers who are featured in the book and on the book’s sound track which is also available.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0112 “Table of Chontents”

You know it’s a good show when the next morning you wake up with a hangover…and I don’t even drink! IBWIP Studio was filled to the brim for EP112. Mute Jacob, Cute Jason, Negative Nick, Brett Conlin, and Mollz all made an appearance on the episode. We also had Mel from IL in the studio audience. It’s a good problem to have when you have more people than microphones. I was honored to have so many great friends sharing in my love for this podcast. In this episode we play music from The Mavericks, The Monads, NightJar, Pawnshop Roses, The Ryan Bales Band, and Jason Isbell.

We tried a little something new on this episode. We played a new game called “IBWIP Quick Draw”. The HD video of this game is available right HERE at our Pee-A-Vision Youtube page. It’s kinda like Pictionary but with a twist only IBWIP can provide. We also go through a couple news stories that we found very interesting. First a woman who obviously doesn’t like The Eagles and a diabetic Chinese man thinks he is a Ghostbuster.

Mute Jacob and Brett Conlin were kind enough to give Blake and Mollz a pre-wedding present on the show. The World Renowned Marriage Counselor Lyle Bonner brings his expertise to help start Blake and Mollz off on the right path. At the end of the segment it is obvious that it was tens of dollars well spent. Finally we give you another installment of “Stay In Character”. This is one of our new favorite games.
