Off the Mark Episode #0155

William Moody passes away at the age of 58.  Our coincidences go out to his family.  WWE announces their new ppv “Payback” and they fire a creative executive.  El Generico loses his mask and his character.  Punk and Undertaker are a go for WM29 and Trips vs Brock is on like Donkey Kong.  On Impact, Ace’s and Eight’s reveal their VP and Matt Morgan gets involved with the title picture.  For our weekly topic, we discuss the lead up to Lockdown.  As always be sure to follow the show @OfftheMark86, Andrew @ahughes86, and Aaron @aphughes. It Burns When I Pee Episode #0088 “Beej Never Wins”

It’s time once again for another gripping episode of IBWIP. In this episode, we spin tunes from The Ten Foot Pole Cats, Ray Lawrence Jr, Buck 55, Arty Hill and The Long Gone Daddies, Work Horse, and Swamp Rat. We also have a short interview with Baby Genius from Piss Poor Washboards and The Goddamn Gallows. In the interview, we talk about how he got into making washboards and how Piss Poor Washboards started.

In this episode, we have special guests Stagger and Apple from Working Class Radio and we have them play “How Well Do You Know Your Mate”.  Amish BJ, Mute Jacob, and Coldbeer also play a round of Fact or Crap. Amish BJ is now convinced that he will never win a game on IBWIP.  We discuss the “family” that this genre of music has, James Hunnicutt talks about IBWIP on his new DVD, and the upcoming IBWIP 6 year anniversary commemorative gift pack. Its a great time so check it out and tell your friends.

In another great interview episode of IBWIP, we have a chat with Justin Wells of Fifth On The Floor. The band has a new CD coming out called Ashes and Angels. The official release is March 12th. In the interview we discuss how the FOTF family has grown, Shooter Jennings, the new album, and music. Justin is an amazing singer and songwriter and it was a pleasure having him on the show to represent the band.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0086 “Tongue Kissing Our Moms”

If you missed the live taping of IBWIP on 2/18 then here is what you missed. We spin tunes from Left Lane Cruiser, The Devil Makes Three, Joseph Huber, LoneWolf OMB, Ben Prestage, and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

In this episode we do our award winning segment called Stupid People Doing Stupid Things (which is how we came up with the show title). We also attempt to play a head to head competition of “How Well Do You Know Your Partner” but due to technical difficulties we have to cut it in half and have Mollz and Blake take on each other. Here is a hint of who wins… “I DONT LIKE IT!”

We also discuss Manti Te’o and MTV’s Catfish. Blake get’s busted for liking Ching Chong Bitches on Facebook, Beej loves being in charge of the sound effects, and Coley won’t satisfy Beej while behind the wheel.. EVER! And we can’t forget that great video of Mollz and her weekend in Wisconsin.

We are also proud to announce our partnership with a great artist by the name of Eric VanSingel. He is going to start doing a bi-weekly comic for IBWIP. Here is a link to the first Comic entitled, “Welcome to Canada”. Check Eric’s website out and hire him so he can make some money because he is helping us for free!

Off the Mark Episode #0152

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0085 “An Interview with Filthy Still”

The guys of Filthy Still rolled through our little ol town of Pekin in January so they stopped by IBWIP Studio for a performance and interview. THEY DID NOT STAIN OUR CARPET, but we had a great time. In the interview, we talk about life on the road, their joining the Farmageddon Records family, the history of the band, and we play everyone’s favorite game… word association!
