I have had this episode done for over a month and it’s been killing me to get it released.  We met up with Call Me Bronco on their March tour when they stopped in at The Brass Rail 2 in Peoria, IL.  I first heard of the band when Mollz came home from last years Muddy Roots Spring Weekender.  Since then we have been burning a hole in their CD. In the interview we introduce you to the guys, talk about how the band got together and much more. It Burns When I Pee Episode #0134 “An Interview with Joseph Huber”

Joseph Huber has a new album out entitled, “The Hanging Road” and we were lucky enough to sit down with him to talk about it. We pulled up a couple bar stools onto the famous pickin’ porch at The High Note in Pekin IL. In the interview we discuss the new album, talk about what makes the perfect song, and his recent nuptials. We also discuss his wood-working and even throw in a couple .357 String Band questions. Not only is this episode available as a podcast but we also have it as a vidcast on our PeeAVision youtube page. The video includes a live performance of two new songs from his new album including: Coming Down From You as well as Same River Twice. He is accompanied by Guido Grease Rag on bass and Jason Loveall on fiddle. Make sure to check it out as well.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0132 “Prepare For Blasphemy AKA The Pope Push”

When the ladies are away the men will play. In this episode Blake and Jason are left to their own devices as Nurse Courtney and Mollz are no where to be found. So we play songs about the devil, sin, and hell in honor of our special in studio guest the one and only Pope Francis. Yes, I said it, Pope Francis. He sits down with us and answers tons of questions that we had for him.

Jason talks about his daughter’s obsession with Hugh Jackman and X-men. We also have a new bit called “Chap Dat Ass” where Blake and Jason talk about some of the things that drive them crazy including napkins, unisex names, and parents that don’t follow the rules. We also bring you “IBWIP News Bulletin” where we talk about Coca Cola and a golfer who is attacked by hornets.

Finally we play music from The Piss Poor Players, Split Lip Rayfield, Whitey Morgan & The 78’s, Sturgill Simpson, and the one and only 357 String Band. Come join us for great laughs and music.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0131 “An Interview with The Calamity Cubes”

I am so please to have my good friends The Calamity Cubes back on the show! I hopped into their “home” and pressed record on the Zoom. In the interview, the band and I talk about a lot more than just music. We talk about their views on relationships, their solo works, and the law changes in Colorado. They even talk about meeting my mom at a recent show. Kody, Brook, and Joey are always great to hang out with and this intimate interview is just that, just 4 guys hanging out in a van talking about life.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0130 “Chiclets, Pocky, and Kool-Aid Packets”

In this episode Blake, Mollz, and Jason ring in Spring as only IBWIP can. Blake fights a sinus infection and Nurse Courtney is no where to be found. We talk about Blake’s family obsession with Subway Surfer, getting ready for Moonrunners 2014, and Jason gets a feel for how the wedding meter is going.

Blake tells the story of about the 10 hour bachelor party that he recently went to and it takes about that long for him to tell the story. Mollz and Blake argue about why little Eli can’t take a bath by himself, and Blake gets a call to host “Late Night with David Letterman” now that Dave is retiring.

Jason gets Blake excited when he talks about his recent trip to Chicago, and we find out that Mollz has a crush on a guy named Dave. The Easter Bunny joins us in studio and we find out how the chocolate is made and if the Tooth Fairy is a slut. We also play music from Whiskey Shivers, Johnny Cash, John Howie Jr and The Rosewood Bluff, The Goddamn Gallows, and Liquorbox.

When you think of New York City you probably don’t think of Roots/Country music, but we have a fella who proves that even the big city can generate some great music. In this episode we interview JD Patch. We discuss his growing up as a military kid, how Hip Hop got him into Country music, and of course is fiances legs! JD has doing everything himself and paying his dues. Check out the interview which features his songs Middle Finger and Good Timin Friends. New York City ain’t just for subways, The Yankees, and skyscrapers, and JD Patch proves that.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0128 “The Banger Sisters”

It’s the first episode of spring and that means it’s time to heat it up in the studio. In this episode Jason, Nurse Courtney, and Mollz, and Blake hit you with tons of laughs. Blake describes his birthday celebration, Ted Muffin’s reviews the upcoming baseball season, and Jason hosts a game of Would You Rather.

We also have an exclusive interview with The Banger Sisters. Who are The Banger Sisters you ask? These two twin sisters are famous adult film stars that have been in countless films together. Find out how their parents feel about their careers, what is their signature move, and what is their favorite porn parody along with tons of other great information. Finally more listeners submit questions for Nurse Courtney advise on their health issues.
