I think this was one of the funnest interviews I have done in a long time. I also found out very quickly that I didn’t do enough research for this interview. Michael Rank has been played many times on IBWIP but this was my first chance to talk to him. In this episode we talk about his song “Husk†from his brand new album “Horsehair†that was released on September 22nd. We also talk about songwriting, goats, and his the difference from being an independent artist vs. being with a label. This is where I wasn’t educated… Michael was in a band called Snatches of Pink in the mid 80’s. Michael talks a little about that experience as well as provides us with the track “Rocks†which we play at the end of the interview. We had a great time and hope you have as much fun learning about Michael as we did.
